Final Reflection Investigacion 2.0

I have learnt in the investigacion 2.0 course many new tools that are very useful for the research, some of which were listed in the previous below post. I was also surprised to find tools that are completely new for me and which provide another approach to how a research can be done, for example Researchgate, symbaloo and hootsuit are completely new for me.
This proved to me another time that we need to closely follow up the digital world where everyday there is some new interesting issues that can simplify our lives and our research interests.

If I wanted to resume what I learnt in one single picture, I could put a snapshot of my new symbaloo webmix which shows many of the tools.

In this snapshot, we can see links to many of my pages on social network, most of these ages will be very useful for doing research.

Twitter... y Tweets

Google Drive

Google Drive is a very interesting tool that allows us to store file and to retrieve them anywhere and anytime. It also has many advantages such as the ability to share specific files with other persons, store files in the cloud, edit documents and excel spreadsheets, and also presentations such as Power Point or Prezzi, and we can also have some images. It is also very interesting for researchers.
The service is free and allows the user a certain quantity of storage in GB.

Tools for good research

Twitter

Twitter is seen as a prime place for professional networking, for news and updates for use as a backchannel in conferences and for real-time chats using hashtags.

Diigo

Diigo is a social bookmarking, research and knowledge sharing tool. It lets you make personal notes and highlight text on web pages and share them with others.
You can use Google Docs to create personal documents, spreadsheets, slidesets, as well as share them with others or work collaboratively on them.

Pinterest

This visual bookmarking site has proved very popular as a way of saving images together with links to resources.

Blogger

Google-owned Blogger is still seen as a quick and easy way to start and maintain a blog.
Feedly is an RSS reader that lets you organise, read and share the content of your favourite sites. It is now the only dedicated feed reader on the list.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar provides a simple way to search broadly for scholarly literature.
